2.9 Type of Sentences

                                          Type Of Sentence
There are four type of sentence.
-                   Declarative sentence
-                   Imperative sentence
-                   Exclamatory sentence
-                   Interrogative sentence
Declarative Sentence
-                   A declarative sentence makes a statement.
-                   It is punctuated by a period.
Example: The dog in the neighbor’s yard is barking.

Imperative Sentence
-                   An imperative sentence is a command or polite request.
-                   It ends in a period or exclamation mark.
Example: Close the door. (command)
Please be request (polite request)

 Exclamatory sentence
-                   An exclamatory sentence expresses great emotion or excitement.
-                    It ends in an exclamation mark.
Example: Look! Those boy is drown.

Interrogative sentence
-                   An interrogative sentence is a question sentence, It ends the sentence with question mark.
Example: Where are the flower shop?



Exercise:Indicates that the following sentence is a sentence of any kind.
1.             Do you want to go out tonight?
2.             Give me the record.
3.             Luna has finish her homework.
4.             In his village was flooded!
5.             Stop talking.
6.             Don’t smoke in my car.
7.             Did you made the emerald vase broken?
8.             Look! That man is fall from the tree.
9.             Mary is the best student in my class.
10.      My friend went to see the movie at Central Airport Chaingmai.
